Used by light infantry platoons and UNN corporate and military forces, this medium strength armor takes a lot more punishment than the Dartech mesh. When you've finally figured out that the Light Armor manufactured by Dartech is not going to get you through serious combat alive, you might want to check out SeeniTech's class 3 armor. Light Armor requires a strength of 2 to equip and reduces all combat damage by 20%. While there's no doubt that the Light Armor is better than walking around naked, this isn't a suit that you're going to be able to depend on when the heat is really on. The Dartech suit is fairly common and is sold to all sorts of low budget armed forces who who can't afford anything better. The suit is basically a mesh of Kevlar and substrate steel that not only resists penetration, but also spreads the force of any blow received out from its focal point, reducing the amount of energy that pushes straight into the wearer. This Dartech class 1 armor is a super-lightweight suit designed to protect the wearer from impact damage. While this is by no means intended to be a comprehensive listing (there's a lot of stuff in this game), it should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from the final product. We're going to start today with the armor and weapons, and we'll give you the rest of the info over the next couple of weeks. We also plan to include a little info on a couple of enemies that will show up in the game. We've divided the list up into Armor, Items, OS Upgrades, Psi-Powers, and Weapons. Now that there's only a couple of weeks left before System Shock 2's August 11th release, we finally managed to squeeze some details out of the folks over at Looking Glass and Irrational Games about the items, armor and weaponry that you'll have access to in the game.

Scavello said commercial businesses affected by a sales tax on admission tickets would benefit from the elimination of commercial school property taxes. This sales tax would cover the gamut of admissions to commercial sports events, recreation facilities like ski lifts, theme parks, movie theaters and entertainment venues as well as local attractions like Pocono Raceway. The state would collect an across-the-board four percent sales tax on admissions tickets or charges with revenues going to a property tax elimination fund. Scavello's proposal provides a source of replacement revenues for the lost Act 511 taxes. There is no state amusement tax nor are there proposals to create one. The amusement tax can only be levied by municipalities or school districts or both provided they share revenues. The Act 511 taxes which are reserved for local governments include the amusement tax as well as occupation and mercantile taxes. But Scavello's plan would also eliminate the so-called Act 511 taxes levied by school districts only. Mario Scavello, R-176, is to eliminate school property taxes by tapping growth in sales tax revenues brought about by expanding the sales tax base to include more items, while lowering the sales tax rate from 6 percent to 4 percent. The main thrust of the proposal advocated by Rep. But state lawmakers in Harrisburg have acted in recent years to limit the ability of local governments to collect this tax.Ī proposal to overhaul the state sales tax would continue that trend and eliminate amusement taxes levied by school districts if it wins enactment in the Legislature.
